NaNoWriMo...It's Coming...
She loved the way the cold air flowed over and between her toes.  Her sandals did little to protect them.  That was the way she preferred it.  A ratty but comfortable sweatshirt clung to her small frame, a poor shield against the night.  She shivered and hugged herself and danced from foot to foot to keep her other parts warm as her toes grew colder. Leaves crackled and popped like fireworks...
